Billing controls access to SecondTouch subscriptions and paid features.
SecondTouch uses Stripe as the billing provider, so billing management happens in a secure external portal.
Overview
Your subscription status directly controls product access.
If a subscription is active, access continues normally. If billing is incomplete or a subscription lapses, access may be limited until the billing state is resolved.
Billing actions are intentionally separated from core product workflows to keep payment processing secure and compliant.
Where to Find Billing
You can access billing from inside the product:
- Open account or workspace settings
- Select the billing or subscription section
- Click the billing portal button/link
You will be redirected outside the app to the secure Stripe customer portal for billing changes.
Billing Provider
SecondTouch uses Stripe as its billing provider.
Stripe handles:
- Payments
- Subscriptions
- Invoices
- Payment methods
Sensitive payment data is processed and stored by Stripe, not directly inside the SecondTouch app.
Capabilities
From billing flows, users can typically:
- Start or update a subscription
- View billing history and invoices
- Update payment methods
- Manage renewal or cancellation settings
- Review current subscription status
Most of these actions occur in the Stripe customer portal after redirection.
Subscription Management
Subscription status determines access level:
- Active/trialing: normal access
- Past due/incomplete/canceled: access may be restricted based on status
When managing a subscription:
- Changes are made in Stripe
- Status updates are reflected back in SecondTouch
- Access behavior follows the latest subscription state
If status and access appear inconsistent, contact SecondTouch support.
Support and Responsibility
Responsibility is split between SecondTouch and Stripe.
Contact SecondTouch for:
- Access issues
- Subscription state mismatch inside the app
- Product behavior related to billing status
- Unclear ownership of an issue
Stripe handles:
- Payment processing outcomes
- Card declines and bank/payment method errors
- Billing portal-specific technical issues
- Invoice/payment transaction processing details
If you are unsure who owns the issue, contact SecondTouch first and we will route you appropriately.
Usage Notes
- It is expected to leave the app when opening billing management
- Billing changes are completed in Stripe, then reflected in SecondTouch
- Some payment failures cannot be resolved inside the product UI because processing is handled by Stripe
- Keep payment methods current to prevent avoidable access interruptions
- Review invoice and subscription status regularly if uninterrupted access is important
